As a member of the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians for over 29 years as a paramedic, John brings an extensive array of experience as a Critical Care Paramedic both ground and Aeromedical (fixed wing/rotor) services both in the USA and international arenas. In addition to Johns's extensive background in Emergency Medicine, he spent over eight years in Afghanistan working on multiple projects for the Department of State, USAID, and DoD during his tenure before arriving in the UAE. Additionally, Mr. Pickett worked as a Senior Paramedic for Abu Dhabi Police EPS before joining the Via Medica team bringing his education, management experience, clinical background, and quality-focused approach to lead Via Medicas operations.
